American Nursing Informatics Association (ANIA)
Non-profit organization for nurses involved or interested in Nursing Informatics. Benefits of membership include; reduced program and conference tuition, newsletter, networking opportunities, and members only email discussion list and forums.
Capital Area Roundtable on Informatics in NursinG (CARING)
One of the largest Informatics groups around and it only costs $20 to join. Membership includes a list serve and newsletter. They meet Bi-Monthly in the Baltimore-DC area.
Central Savannah River Area-Clinical Informatics Network

Midwest Alliance for Nursing Informatics (MANI)
Not-for-profit organization open to health care professionals interested in the field of Nursing Informatics. Although the organization is relatively new, there are over 200 members representing 12 states. Membership provides networking opportunities and educational programs.

Nursing Informatics Net
Provides- an index of other Nursing Informatics resources, a global resource of many websites, Quanta, a news service of recent news, views, & links, and original content index for new materials to be developed.

Puget Sound Nursing Informatics (PSNI)  
The purpose of this group is to provide an opportunity to network with peers, learn about various information systems relevant to nursing, and provide educational opportunities in nursing Informatics in the Puget Sound area. Anyone interested in nursing Informatics is invited to attend.
